Howdy everybody,
I’m Jarene Chuang, a property consultant from Singapore.
I started this blog, originally, with the intent to inform my buyers and sellers about the what’s-going-on in the Singapore Property Market, and occasionally news about the international property market. It seems like everywhere I go, everyone is talking about real estate!
But after some time, I’ve realized that many of my competitors are already doing it. So what’s the point?
Over the years, I realized that most of my clients are not objective in their choices of properties. Not only that, by the time the news about certain potential investments has reached the market, it’s too late! Not all condominiums are created equal. Not all condominiums are appealing to investors. For various reasons, only some condominiums are good investments. In most cases, even within a condominium, not all units are good units!
So, how do you choose which condominium to buy? How do you choose which unit to buy? That is where I stand out – because I am not a real estate agent, I’m your Real Estate Partner, a member of YOUR Financial Freedom Team.
What is the difference?
As real estate agent, he will be the one just wants to make the sale. Anyone who ask him whether one should invest in properties, he will always tell you that now is the best time. After buying the property, he’ll tell you that it’s best to sell now.
As a real estate consultant, she not only will have the necessary skills of a real estate agent, she will generally be working in your interest. The main difference is this: she looks into having a long term relationship with you. Most importantly, she knows which property appeals to the what type of market. So, she’ll give you advice on the type of properties you should invest in.
Who Am I?
I am a realtor from Electronic Realty Associates (ERA) Pte Ltd since 2003. With my professional training as an engineer specialising in statistical control (*yawn* you can see why I switch careers), I’ve always been able to spot the trends even before it is obvious.
What is my Intention?
I classifiy my intention in 2 categories:
1. For those who are still in the rat race:
As Your Real Estate Partner, I am part of your Financial Freedom Team to assist you in getting out of the rat race.
It is my intent to increase your real estate portfolio, and to assist you in reaching your financial goals faster through real estate which is one of the tools. With my research, I select the best condominiums based on present market situation and your budget to invest in. With Singapore’s society getting more and more stressful, it is important that one invest wisely. One wrong move in real estate can be very disastrous! One of the ways I can hep you minimize your mistakes is to advise you on which are the condominiums you should invest in.
2. For those who are still in the rat race:
I applaud you for getting out of the rat race.
Now that you are out of it, it is time for you to enjoy the finer things in life. It is my intent to not just increase your real estate portfolio, but to assist you in getting top notch properties – appreciated only by the discerning few. It is now time to reward yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions.
Here are some questions often asked by my clients regarding this blog. I shall put them up here so that I can answer them.
1. Why do you use a blog when most agents are using a website?
I do most of my advertising in reputable on-line property websites and Straits Times. Most of my properties once posted for sale are definitely be part of my marketing program.
I do have a personal website. It’s available here. But I’m not a computing genius, so I still prefer to use a blog so that I can communicate directly to my clients.
2. What are your services?
My basic services would include: helping my clients sell their property at the highest possible price in the shortest possible time, ensuring that buyers get their dream homes, and investors get their properties and I do my best to ensure that all the transactions through me will be a smooth transaction.
However, I am your financial freedom team member. I am commited to help you invest in properties to increase your net worth. As mentioned earlier, I am your real estate partner. So, if you inform me that you are looking into buying a property for investment purposes, we will be discussing which are the properties you should be investing based on my research.
3. What do you gain from this? No agent has done this before. Also, it seems like a lot of work.
What do I gain? You mean besides my commission? Well, I’ve always been interested in property investment and I’ve always been analyzing the property and finance market. It’s kind of like a hobby.
4. Why do you not put your research online in this blog and require us to register our information? I prefer to keep my details private.
In the first place, my research has been done over a period of 3 – 4 years. It is my hard work, and I’m certainly not going to put it up online so that everyone can see! I am not looking to influence the property market in Singapore. I’m only interested in helping individuals increase their net worth!
Secondly, my form addresses certain questions that I’m sure, as an investor, some of you have not considered. By answering the questions, I will be able to help you better by understanding your needs even before I meet you. Rest assured, I am all for privacy, so I’ll not reveal your information to a third party.
5. Why do you not post ST and BT news? I would like to see more of that.
All these news are easily available online. I’m assuming that all my clients are fully responsible for their finances. As such I expect my clients to keep themselves updated with the current market situation and the direction of the economy.
If you would like to know more about how to increase your net worth through real estate, give me a buzz and we can meet up and have a discussion.
6. Why didn’t you get back to me after I answered all your questionaires?
Generally, I’ll contact you within 3 days after looking at your requirements to check the authenticity of the email address and the phone number. I do not like to send emails to people who did not want to receive information in the first place! Did you leave an authentic number for me to call you back? If you have, please email me your number or simply re-submit the form here.
My Contact Details:
