How to Use Powersearch
1. Select the correct tab for HDB / Private or Commercial and Industrial Properties
2. Select whether you are looking at properties for sale or for rent
3. Road Field:
Select the road name from the menu. AVOID typing the road name yourself as it may not be recognized by the system. There may be many variations of the road name e.g. Telok Blagah Rise or Telok Blagah Heights. You can choose general road name until you decided that you are interested in properties along that specific road.
4. Project Field:
Only applicable for private properties. Select the Project Name using the menu. AVOID typing the project name yourself as it may not be recongized by the system.
5. Estate Field:
This is applicable for both HDB and private properties.The estates cover : Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Bishan, Bukit Batok, Bukit Merah, Bukit Panjang, Bukit Timah, Central, Choa Chu Kang, Clementi, Geylang, Hougang, Jurong East, Jurong West, Kallang/Whampoa, Marine Parade, Pasir Ris, Queenstown, Sembawang, Sengkang/Punggol, Serangoon, Tampines/Simei, Toa Payoh, Woodlands, Yishun. Simply select one estate in HDB resale/rental search.
For private properties, note that once the estate field is selected, and if you are looking for all properties in that estate, do not include any road name in the Road Field. This will enable you to capture all the information about all the condominiums in that estate.
6. Property Type Field:
Only applicable for private properties. Select the various property types: Apt, Condo, Exec.Condo, HUDC, Walkup, House, Detached, Semi-Detached, Bungalow, Terrace, Cluster House, TownHouse or Service Apt.
Further specify your search by typing in the Room Type in the Room Type Field.
For HDB properties, select the right property type: 1-Room, 2-Room, 3-Room, 4-Room, 5-Room, Jumbo flat, EA(Executive Apt), EM(Executive Maisonette) or EC(Executive Condo) from the Room Type field. In addition to Room type, there is additional Model field & Blk field. You can choose any model, or pick I(improved model), A(A model), NG(new generation mode) or S(Standard/simplified model)
7. Blk Field:
Applicable for HDB properties. Simply specify a certain Blk no. or use ‘x’ as wildcard to extend the blk range.
8. District Field:
Applicable for private properties. Select the district in according to your requirements
9. Keywords Field:
Specify your search by typing words like MRT to save time.
The period of search is between 1 day to 1 month – that is how updated this system is.
